LA trip mini haul

I’ve actually had these photos edited and ready to be posted since late August but then I got caught up with gaming… firstly both Lego Harry Potter games on the PC, and then Danganronpa V3.  Oops.  My bad.

Anyway, I went to LA for a week back in mid August and I didn’t buy as much as I thought I would.  It’s a very tiny haul.

No surprises there that the majority of my mini haul is, once again, Harry Potter merchandise.

CWHK44 Loot

I haven’t been to doujin events for a while, though I guess you could count CP04 at ACGHK, hm… Anyway, I went to CWHK last month and ended up buying a bit more than I thought I would.

So without further ado, here’s more photos of what I bought.

Beauty & the Beast Brickheadz

Brickheadz is an interesting line that Lego has come up with.  The designs can be pretty cute in their chubby, block form.  I was tempted to buy one but the current line-up are either Marvel, DC Comics or Disney, and I wasn’t that interested in any of them, save for maybe Robin Hood?  Only because he looked cute with his goggles, haha.  Anyway, parents went holidays to north Europe and came back with Lego from Denmark.  I… guess I don’t mind?  I like Lego anyway!  They got me Belle and the Beast.

Gachapon & Sylvanian Families

I guess you could call this a mini haul of sorts… I bought a few Sylvanian Families sets a couple of weeks back when there was a discount sale happening at a JP department store.  They’re only figure sets though.  And then I also went to look at gachapon machines as I haven’t done that for a while.

So let’s start with the gachapon.  I came across a gachapon of… miniature gachapon machines.  Yes!

Tokyo Trip Haul

My wallet weeps.

I swear, with each time I go to a Disney theme park, I spend more?  But then it’s most likely because Japanese Disney merchandise is more to my taste than American merchandise, and HKDL goods lie somewhere between the two.  Japanese Disney goods are too cute!  And then I had to visit a Disney Store since the merchandise they stock there aren’t available within the theme parks, and vice versa.  I also visited Kiddy Land and Mega Tokyo Pokemon Center too!  My poor wallet…  I didn’t get to spend much time at Tokyu Hands, otherwise my wallet would’ve bled more.

Hmm, messy haul photo… and I probably shouldn’t have used a red background but that’s my bed sheets at the moment, heh.

Haul from Hong Kong Disneyland (x2)

Aaaah, long time no post.  First, it was studying/exams that took over my spare time, then my secondary HDD died, and that was where I had saved all my photos… Luckily, I still had a backup of them on my SD cards.  All my processed photos were uploaded on flickr or wordpress so I technically didn’t lose any photos, phew.  As a result, I didn’t get back into processing any photos until months later.  Oops.

As the title says, this post contains loot from both my Hong Kong Disneyland trips from last year in September during their Halloween event, and this month during their Easter/spring time event.  Last year was my first time going to HKDL too… it’s pretty small and very chill compared to Walt Disney World in late January.  I still enjoyed it and, because it was pretty relaxed, it meant you can go on whatever ride you want without having to worry about wait times or fastpasses (except maybe for that Pooh Bear ride…).  I went back again this month mostly to check out the new Iron Man ride, and also to check out their springtime parade and the Easter egg decorations.  I foresee myself going back to HKDL maybe once a year… especially since they’re planning on opening up something new almost every year until 2023.

Anyway, without further ado, here’s photos of my HKDL haul!

Kyoto / Osaka Trip Loot

I went to Japan back in April for a week or so and spent 4 days at Kyoto, 1 day in Nara and 2.5 days at Osaka.  I spent… more than I should have.  And having a credit card on me only helped that money vortex spin more easily.  =’D  Most of it was splurged when I returned to Osaka since Kyoto and Nara had a lot more sight seeing activities.  Nevertheless, I still dropped over 10,000 JPY at Pokemon Center Kyoto on the first day.  Hm.

Without further ado, let’s start the photo spam!

Too much stuff to try and organise them neatly for an overall loot photo, oops.
