Here’s another miniatuart paper kit from Sankei featuring a scene from a Studio Ghibli movie – Laputa: Castle in the Sky. I learnt from my previous experience and used PVA glue instead of liquid UHU glue which was much better for gluing down the fake greenery. A lot less messier and no ‘spider webs’ appearing!
I went to Japan back in April for a week or so and spent 4 days at Kyoto, 1 day in Nara and 2.5 days at Osaka. I spent… more than I should have. And having a credit card on me only helped that money vortex spin more easily. =’D Most of it was splurged when I returned to Osaka since Kyoto and Nara had a lot more sight seeing activities. Nevertheless, I still dropped over 10,000 JPY at Pokemon Center Kyoto on the first day. Hm.
Without further ado, let’s start the photo spam!
So posting almost 2 months late, I’m finally making a loot post for Rainbow Gala. Not much to write up about the actual event since it’s the same same so let’s get straight to the photos! I didn’t buy toooo much this time.
I’ve had this paper art kit for over a year and I have finally made it. Ah yes, fish being lazy as per usual. This is from Sankei’s miniatuart paper kits and I’ve never really made one before. Parts of this kit also included fake grass/greenery which I also never used before.
Kinda odd considering I went through 5 years of architecture school but using fake greenery like that was banned in the first year, heh.
Time to do what I do best and spam photos!
I rarely buy entire sets of re-ment miniatures – usually just a box or two from each series but then lately I started to buy entire sets… though it’s just been two sets so far.
Hm. 80’s nostalgia and school goods stationary sets because miniatures are too adorable. The latter set I’ll be making a separate blog entry for it later. I was also eyeing this gudetama set, gudetama meets danger, and wondering if I should buy the entire set or just get a box or two but then boyfriend ended up buying it for me… aaahhh @.@ So this entry will be photos of both the gudetama and 80’s nostalgia sets! I hope I can control myself and not go too crazy with buying more full re-ment sets…
First up is the gudetama set! It’s so cuuuute~ Also because gudetama is also an adorable character. I can relate to its lazy personality too well…
Neko atsume has been such a popular app and with good reason too – the cats are too cute and it’s really easy to play because you just refill food and leave it alone for cats to appear. I like these types of phone apps where it’s really chill and no need to play for a decent amount of time every day. Anyway, there’s been a decent amount of neko atsume goods and one of them was their gachapon series.
