McDonalds Nanoblocks

McDonald’s in Hong Kong had a campaign last year in June where you could add a certain amount of money to your meal in exchange for a nanoblock.  Or you could alternatively buy the entire set which was what I did.  I thought you could actually build them but they came prebuilt… which I guess I shouldn’t be surprised about since it’s McDonald’s toys.  There was also one nanoblock set for McCafe too!

To be more accurate, I preordered the entire set.  I think they ran out during the first day or two so they changed it to preordering and then pick-up the entire set a month later.  The full set also came with a plastic display box thing but it’s not exactly that nice…  And also a McDonald’s restaurant nanoblock set too!

McCafe cup.  Cappucino, I think?

So cuuuute!  It’d be nice to be able to build them but I guess having it prebuilt is also another positive thing… I mean, at least they won’t fall apart if I drop them by accident?  That jellyfish nanoblock set falls apart waaaay too easily akhsfoaeiap  Anyway, now for more photos of them with danbo!  Because why not?

And then very quickly I start to place the nanoblocks on their heads.

These nanoblocks are so adorable!  I rarely end up caving in for these McDonalds toy stuff but this was one crossover I could not pass up.  So glad that they decided to do preorders when all the sets available in stock were sold out!
